Chilean artist Leo Rebolledo, artist and co-founder of TANNINS, was selected to participate in The People’s Artist, an international contest launched by actor Johnny Depp that seeks to highlight original artistic proposals through public voting.

Rebolledo is participating with a series of works created using wine as a painting medium, a personal technique he has developed in recent years that explores themes related to memory, time, and human emotion. His work combines material research and contemporary figuration, transforming wine—one of Chile’s most important cultural symbols—into a visual language.
